Membership

We welcome anyone living or operating a business in the Sechelt neighbourhoods of Davis Bay, Wilson Creek or Selma Park to join the Community Association. The annual individual membership fee is $5.00; the membership year goes from April 1 to March 31. There is no family or business membership.

Why be a Community Association Member?

For 70 years, Community Association members have been nurturing this neighbourhood in a thousand different ways. These are some of the areas in which our members are working right now, and every time we get a new, enthusiastic member who wants to volunteer, we can do just that much more! Please consider joining us

Keeping the Association’s three buildings and grounds safe and in good repair.
Beautifying the immediate surroundings of the Community Hall.
Managing, as directors, the Association’s property and business.
Applying for grant funding for the buildings and grounds.
Arranging speakers, programs, and hospitality for general meetings [during Covid, meetings are via Zoom].
Working with other Sechelt and Sunshine Coast community associations on shared projects and concerns such as ferries, the ‘highway,’ and a coast-wide parks plan.
Advocating to local government on behalf of our neighbourhoods.
Leading projects like the Davis Bay Wharf renovation.
